November is National Entrepreneurship Month, and this PD is designed to provide fun ways to introduce entrepreneurship into your classroom. Sarah Reid, teacher turned entrepreneur, will invite us to her studio in Conway. In addition to ready to use resources, each participant will produce a nutcracker door hanger for home or the classroom.
Upon successful completion, participants will receive:
2 hours of professional development credit

Dyslexia Specialist, Mindy Mann, worked with District Dyslexia Contacts this past week! During their monthly meeting, they reviewed K-12 screening guidelines, district requirements, and collaborated on resources.





Breaking News! Arch Ford ESC has been chosen as the Local Lead organization for Early Childhood services in Yell and Van Buren counties! We look forward to working with the birth to five childcare providers in these counties to support quality services for all children!

Directors and TCCs from across the state met with Secretary Oliva and the DESE team yesterday to get updates on LEARNS implementation and ATLAS. We appreciate the partnerships with DESE and the other 14 ESCs in the state to support all students! #ArchFordServes







Mentoring Specialists Jacob Sisson, Bethany Hill, and Archie supported Novice & Support Teachers in utlizing the K-12 HQIM mathematics curriculum - llustrative Mathematics. Teachers spent the day examining strategies for engaging and scaffolding students in high rigorous grade level instruction as well as exploring Inclusive models of instruction.

While visiting with ArPEP Year 1 teacher Avery Byrd at Dwight Elementary in Russellville, Dr. Workman had the opportunity to watch the 4th grade teachers update students on their reading data.
